Herzlich willkommen — and welcome (back) to D.C.!

Did you know that Washington’s oldest German-speaking Protestant church is right around the corner from GW campus? Founded by German immigrants in 1833, The United Church has been part of German-American life in D.C. for almost 200 years.

We’d love for you to come by for a meet & greet on Wednesday, August 26, anytime between 12–3 PM. Meet members of our German-speaking community, hear about our German conversation group and volunteering opportunities, and enjoy some German sweets and a fun quiz.

Whether you’re new to D.C. or have been here for a while — just stop by between classes and say Hallo!
