The United Church Organ
The organ at the United Church was built in 1980 by the Alfred Führer Orgelbau of Wilhelmshaven, Germany. It incorporates many of the techniques that were perfected and practiced by eighteenth century North German organbuilders, Arp Schnitger in particular. The solid oak case was designed to augment and radiate the organ's tone and to reflect some of the motifs in the church windows. The key and stop actions are mechanical and are constructed almost entirely of wood. (organ specifications)
